Welcome
to the website of the 145th Assembly District Democratic Committee. As
you can see from the map, our district consists of the 11 municipalities
in the northwest corner of Bucks County. If you live in one of these
municipalities, you are in the 145th Assembly District.
Our committee is made up of 48 elected and appointed
committeepeople. We are part of the Bucks County Democratic Committee,
based in Doylestown. Currently elected Democrats hold office in
Sellersville, Perkasie, Quakertown, Springfield, East Rockhill,
Trumbauersville, and Richland (Green party).
We welcome your participation and support. If you would
like to help us in any way, click on the "Volunteering" item
on the menu at the left. Feel free to join us at our meetings, normally
held the third Thursday of each month at 7:30PM at the Upper Bucks
Democrats Office, 328 West. Broad Street, Quakertown. All are welcome.
We are ordinary citizens who are concerned about the
direction our country. We are working
to register and elect Democrats and make a difference for our country's
future. Tip O'Neill famously said "All politics is local". WE
ARE THE LOCAL! It is also said "it begins a the grassroots".
WE ARE THE GRASSROOTS!
We are seeing what happens on the local level, on the
county level, and on the federal level when one party has absolute
power. This condition is not good for democracy. It is time to change
this, but we need your help.
